Overview of the SPARC Toroidal Field Coil

This talk will provide an overview of the SPARC Toroidal Field Model Coil (TFMC) Project, a 3 year effort between MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center and Commonwealth Fusion Systems to develop novel REBCO conductor technologies and then incorporate them into a single fusion-scale magnet capable of achieving 20 Tesla peak field on coil. Additional, some lessons-learned from the TFMC project as well as a few other areas of REBCO research at MIT that may be relevant and of interest to the US MDP community will be presented, hopefully with a little time for discussion
