The IWP/RIXS series of workshops have been organized roughly every three years since 1990. The focus of this conference will be on cutting-edge research in photoionization and RIXS, with an emphasis on high temporal and/or spectral resolutions. Temporal resolutions in the attosecond regimes are now accessible to both HHG and FEL sources, which provide access to purely electronic dynamics in all forms of matter. Spectral resolving powers of 3x104 and beyond have enabled unprecedented progress in RIXS and its applications to quantum materials, energy materials and molecular systems. Photoionization and RIXS with high temporal and/or spectral resolution yield novel insights into the electronic structure and dynamics from atoms over molecules and clusters to liquids and solids.

Registration for the 14th International Workshop on Photoionization and Resonant Inelastic X-ray Scattering (IWP/RIXS) is now open.

We welcome researchers, scientists, and students from around the world to join us for five days of scientific exchange and collaboration in Berkeley.

Organizations and industry partners interested in supporting the workshop are invited to participate through our sponsorship program.

We encourage early registration, as space may be limited.
