KamLAND is a Japan-US-Netherlands one-kiloton liquid scintillator neutrino detector located in Kamioka, Japan. The US Department of Energy (DOE) has funded the US contribution to KamLAND, and Berkeley Lab was the lead US DOE laboratory. The KamLAND collaboration meets twice per year to discuss analysis results, current and future publications, and future directions of the experiment.
The August 31 to September 2, 2022, KamLAND meeting at Berkeley Lab will be the second collaboration meeting of the calendar year 2022 and the first in-person meeting since 2019.
