Reaching the Bay Area and Berkeley

LBNL and Berkeley is easily accessible via public transit or rental car from two major international airports:

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) - https://www.flysfo.com/

Oakland International Airport (OAK) - https://www.oaklandairport.com/

From both of these area airports it is a < 1 hour drive to reach Berkeley by car.  Alternatively, the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) offers a convenient public transit option directly from both SFO and OAK to the Downtown Berkeley Station, which is within walking or a short Uber/Lyft ride of the Berkeley area hotels suggested. A shared-ride shuttle service also convenient for either arrival airport is SuperShuttle.
