The listed Berkeley hotels are located close to public transport stops, in particular the BART station "Downtown Berkeley". BART is the Bay Area Rapid Transit system, which connects directly to Oakland, San Francisco, and the airports.
At Downtown Berkeley you can also easily catch the Lab shuttle bus that will bring you up to LBNL's campus and the conference venue (see Site Access).
