Transportation and Parking

LBNL Shuttle:
This is the recommended mode of transportation to the lab.
If you are coming from the Downtown Berkeley Area, your shuttle is the BLUE Shuttle.
The shuttle stop for the workshop is right in front of Building 50 - Auditorium. Just let the shuttle driver know your destination and they will let you know when you've reached Bldg. 50.

Information on the LBNL Shuttle can be found here

Driving and Parking Onsite:
Parking onsite is very limited and can be difficult; therefore, we highly suggest that you utilize the LBNL Shuttle if you are not staying at the Lab Guest House. If you have to drive, please consider carpooling. Parking permit will be approved based on availability. You must email us as a request for a parking permit one month before the workshop starts.

Taxi / Uber / Lyft / Other Share Rides:
If you take one of these mode of transportation, you will be dropped off at the Blackberry Gate. From there, you will need to walk up to Building 50. Use the map below to guide you around the lab.

SFO to Berkeley:
From San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Downtown Berkeley, one of the most convenient ways is to take the BART metro public transportation and get off at Downtown Berkeley Station. For details on the BART map and schedule, please see BART website.
