Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the International Workshop on Electron Cyclotron Resonance Ion Sources (ECRIS'26) in San Francisco, California from 27 September to 01 October 2026. ECRIS'26 is the 27th in a biennial workshop series and it will be hosted by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory across the bay at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District.
As was the case for previous workshops, ECRIS'26 will be comprised of both oral and poster presentations covering diverse topics such as:

Fundamental process and plasma studies

ECR-based charge breeders

Radioactive ion beams

Applications and diagnostics

Beam extraction and transport

Source modelling
The proceedings from these presentations will be collected to be part of the Joint Accelerator Conferences Website (JACoW).
In addition to the scientific program, the workshop will include a welcome reception, a conference outing, and a social dinner.
