Public Transit: BART and MUNI
The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) rail system transports passengers from either airport to downtown San Francisco. The trips cost $10-12 and trip lengths of 30-40 minutes between the hours of ~06:00 and midnight with ~10-20 minute intervals between trains depending on time of day and day of week.
The Montgomery Street BART station is ~0.6 mi (~1 km) from the conference hotel by foot. Once in San Francisco, the MUNI system of buses and streetcars can be used for transport between the BART stations and the hotel. Google Maps is a generally reliable and up-to-date source for transit options to the hotel from from SFO or OAK.
The SFO BART Station is located on the Departures/Ticketing Level of the International Terminal (G Gates side). BART is easily accessed from any terminal by riding SFO's free AirTrain to the Garage G/BART Station stop.
BART may be accessed at OAK from either terminal.
