The Richard Geller Prize, named after the developer of the first ECR ion source and awarded at the last six workshops, recognizes outstanding contributions to the development and understanding of ECR ion sources. The Geller Prize was established by Pantechnik, the world leader in commercial ECR ion sources, in 2008 and has been awarded to promising young scientists at every ECRIS workshop since.
Nominations should be submitted via a one-page description of the candidate's research work and up to three related references. The nominated candidates must be under 41 years of age on December 31, 2026. Please submit nominees to the committee chair, Janilee Benitez, ([email protected]) by July 5th, 2026.
